Peterborough Astronomical Association

The Peterborough Astronomical Association is a group of people from Peterborough, Ontario and surrounding area who love space and viewing the night sky.

Monthly observing nights, for members only, are held at one of several private observatories owned by a club member or associate. Observing nights are the Friday nearest New Moon. In case of cloudy weather on Friday, the following Saturday will be the back-up session. The host observatory calls the ‘go’ or ‘no go’ on weather – smart people call in advance.
