Moving Ahead in 2010

The schedule of events is taking shape with a number of the regular meetings now planned. The observing schedule is also starting to fill up, details for both of these are available on the website. We need the empty spaces left for this year to be filled. If you wish to make a presentation at a meeting or host an observing session please contact Rick.

The use of Skype to provide for two-way audio/visual communication with a remote guest speaker has proven to be very successful. We look forward to more of these sessions as the year progresses.

The mount for the club’s 10” reflector has been completed. The telescope will be available for viewing and use for the first time by the PAA at the observing session Friday March 19th at the Robinson Rd. Observatory. Click here for a map to the site. A photograph of the new scope is presented here.
