FAQ

Why do I need to register?
Actually you don’t! The PAA will never turn anyone away from our events for lack of a ticket. But, there are advantages. The primary advantage to getting tickets is that we’ll be better able to inform you if the event has to be postponed due to inclement weather or bad viewing conditions.
Why was the event cancelled at the last minute?
Naturally, astronomical viewing requires clear skies in order to see even the closest objects to us like the moon or meteors streaking through the upper atmosphere. As a result, we sometimes have to cancel events on the day of because of the weather and/or viewing conditions. Watch this page or register for the event to make sure you're aware as soon as cancellations happen.
